Is the Zypto card a real Visa card?
Yes. Zypto cards are issued under a regulated card programme. You can use them everywhere Visa is accepted - POS, online, ATM (where supported), Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Do I pay a fee on every transaction?
No swipe fee. The only conversion cost is the spread on the crypto→fiat conversion at swipe time, which we publish in advance. No hidden FX markup.
What happens if my fund-token doesn't have enough balance?
Set fallback tokens in the app. Zypto draws from your default first, then walks the fallback list. The card declines only if all fallbacks are empty.
Can I get a card in my country?
See the issuing coverage map above. Card issuing is region-restricted; wallet, bill pay and gift cards are global. We expand issuing monthly - drop your email below to be notified.
Is my crypto safe? You're not custodial, right?
Your wallet is non-custodial. Card balances are settled at swipe time directly from your wallet via our payments rails. Zypto never holds your full balance - only the converted fiat needed to settle each transaction.
What's "Zypto Premium" and is it required?
Premium is the paid tier ($0 monthly fees + higher limits). Not required - both cards work on the free tier with standard fees. Premium pays for itself if you spend ≥ $1,200/month.
