About NEAR, for buyers
NEAR is a sharded proof-of-stake layer-1 with human-readable account names and developer-friendly contracts. The network targets sub-second finality and supports chain abstraction features that let applications work across multiple chains from a single NEAR account.
You can buy NEAR on centralized exchanges and via DEXes (decentralized exchanges) directly using a self-custody wallet. NEAR is not yet wired into Zypto App's in-app buying flow.
